The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government program set up in 2014 to help make the UK housing stock more energy efficient by installing various energy saving measures. They are designed to help save people money on their energy bills and keep homes warmer and help to reduce carbon emissions.
The main energy suppliers including British Gas, EDF, Eon, Npower and SSE have an obligation to pay for these measures in householders who fall under the “affordable warmth” bracket by receiving certain qualifying benefits.
Another route to qualifying is the Local Authority Flex Scheme ( LA Flex ) which requires NO BENEFITS. The benefits criteria from October 2018 has now been opened to capture a lot more people who need help. This allows more residents, in addition to those claiming benefits, to qualify for funding, based on low incomes, health, age or area, giving councils the ability to support specific communities. Each Local Authority have a different criteria and are forever changing, we advise you call to discuss your area and current situation to find out if you qualify.

The Green Homes Grant Scheme is the UK Government’s £2 billion initiative to offer energy efficient improvement grants for domestic homes in England.
The Government will provide a voucher up to £5,000 that covers up to two-thirds of the cost of energy efficiency and low carbon heat improvements to your home. You may be able to receive a bigger grant if you are a homeowner and you or a member of your household receives one of the qualifying benefits. The Government will cover 100% of the cost of the improvements up to £10,000. Every home is eligible to apply.
The scheme only runs until March 2021. Our friendly and professional team can advise whether you qualify for the scheme and what measures would be most suitable for your property.

Reduce the cost of heating your home with FREE Underfloor Insulation (UFI) – this is one of the easiest ways to improve the warmth and comfort of your home, and there is absolutely no mess because it's all done underneath your floor.
You might have got your ceiling and walls insulated, but as much as 20% of your heating is also lost through your floor.
This is probably the least disruptive type of home insulation. When insulating from below, the mineral fibre is rolled out and secured with netting that is stapled between the floor joists.
You will need an access hatch to your cellar or basement. If you do not have one, our fitters are able to make it for you in a hidden place usually under the stairs.
Under ECO3 government funding we will arrange for a qualified professional to come to your home and check if your property is suitable.
